Somni's sensors can be used in a variety of systems and combinations. In order to ensure a properly functioning system in advance, Somni has a range of interrogators and peripherals that can be used to test and calibrate a system prior to installation.

It is important to note that Somni has no preference for any type of interrogator, as Somni only supplies the sensors. Somni is therefore completely independent in this respect.

Somni has extensive experience in testing and calibrating sensors and systems in all types of configurations. We would like to share this knowledge and experience with you in order to create a tailor-made configuration.

Sensor box
Somni also has an integrated condition monitoring solution. This is a stainless steel box containing a number of sensors that together reveal the condition of the structure on which it is placed.
This box is connected to the interrogator by a single fiber or, if redundancy is required, by two fibers. The box contains two tilt sensors, three highly sensitive accelerometers and a temperature sensor.
These sensors can be used to monitor the condition of the structure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This measurement includes all the rotations that the object experiences, vibrations in the object, but also displacements are made available.

Custom fiber service
Ordering fibers is also possible at Somni.
Although Somni's focus is on providing its customers with high quality fiber optic sensors, Somni also wants to share the knowledge it has gained over the years about FBGs.
Therefore, we also offer a service for supplying fibres according to your specifications!
